so glad you’re here

I have been working with families in general since I was a young teen. More specifically, in 2006 I moved into a role working closely with families in need of detailed, in-home support.

Beginning in 1997 with a career as a Professional Nanny, I have been graciously welcomed into over 300 client homes across the country. Continuing my education along the way, I have built a sound ability to teach, mentor, support, guide and encourage parents on all different paths. Some families are needing guidance with behavior challenges in the home while others are facing a life transition or family crisis in which they simply need more support. I can apply patience and objective understanding to help transform families when they need it most.

I currently live just outside of Indianapolis, Indiana with my dreamboat of a husband, Greg and our cat, Kevin. Although we do not have biological children of our own, we do have future plans to adopt and welcome a sibling group into our home. I enjoy going for walks, driving fast cars, loving on my nieces and nephews, attending spin class, crime/mystery TV shows, and cooking nice meals at home.

my programs

I am so glad you’ve taken this step in at least exploring the options you have for your family. While it may be difficult to ask for help, addressing challenges in the home can lead to a peaceful existence for everyone, creating a wholesome environment for parents, spouses, and children. As a Family Support Specialist, I have created specific teachings that I have successfully implemented time and time again. When you are ready to open your home to the possibility of joy and positivity, I am here to explore options and programs with you.

Chaos to Consistency ~ Parenting with Intention

Parenting with Intention is the most popular, and most involved level. During the three month commitment, Jen Angier begins in your home for a period of time before moving to virtual connections. This in-depth program teaches the entire family how to live and thrive with new expectations, communication and boundaries.

Chaos to Consistency ~   One-Time Rethink

Offered as a 1.5 hour virtual connect, Jen offers action steps while guiding parents to Rethink a particular scenario.  Such scenarios as, “my child has been lying – what can we do?”   “time out is not working – any suggestions?”  or “our kids will not stay in bed without us – help!”.  Follow up sessions can be added upon request.

my a la carte services

No two households are ever the same. For that reason, I offer the ‘a la carte’ virtual services in situations that are suited for a more hands-off approach. Please feel free to connect with me so that I may answer any questions you have about how I work.

frequently asked questions

We have tried everything—what makes you different?

Parents often are given excellent advice from friends, parenting pages, doctors, etc. Having information and knowing how to implement said information are very different. I come into your home and teach you, step by step. Chaos to Consistency is more of a teaching program coupled with new ways to rethink how scenarios are currently handled. You will not only learn how to set boundaries and expectations; you will learn how to hold onto them with confidence.

Are there different levels of support? I don’t think I need the most involved option.

Yes, we do offer four different levels as well as a la carte virtual support services! These offerings range from a one-time Rethink Session to spending significant time in your home. Please visit our ‘Programs’ information on this page for more detail or schedule a free call to learn more about a particular program.

What ages of children do you work with?

Majority of my clients have children that are 6, 7 or 8 years old. The surge of seeking outside help at this age comes from evident challenges in school, where new limits & expectations have been met with discord. Overall, our programs can be highly successful with children as young as 2 years old and realistically, up to age 11.

What kind of effort is involved in this program?

Working with Jen Angier will take more effort than you ever thought possible as a parent. Change is hard—it is uncomfortable and causes protest from children (especially when they can wear you down to get their way). The Chaos to Consistency program will not work itself and is not a quick fix for one child’s behavior. It is a complete family change, taught by Jen Angier, yet led by the parent(s).

Overall, the parent commitment level strongly correlates to the family success level. The Chaos to Consistency program is hard work. Parents need to be on the same page with a matching end goal—living an enjoyable, fun, realistic, respectful life as a family.

How do you keep up with what’s happening in our home while you are not there?

Two Nest cameras are provided to each household so that the family dynamics can be referenced and reviewed, upon request. Jen and the parent(s) work together to set up Nest cameras in common areas of the home. The intentional combination that really gives a continued full picture consists of : (a) Jen physically spending a week in-home, (b) daily connect with parent(s), (c) access to Nest cameras and (d) weekly recap meetings to include successes, pitfalls, and new goals for the week ahead.

Do you guarantee your work?

A family’s success in the Chaos to Consistency program is solely dependent on the effort and follow through of the parent(s). We do not offer refunds as the information provided and taught has had great success for those that do the work.
